Currencies

Overview

HDM5 provides a set of pre-configured currencies for use in its models and reports.

The HDM5 currency list is based on the ISO 4217 international standard for currency codes, maintained by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

Caution

HDM5 uses currency codes rather than symbols. This removes any ambiguity that may be caused by symbols (such as $ could mean USD, CAD, AUD etc.). This is the clearest and most commonly accepted convention in multi-currency consultancy, engineering, finance, and development-sector applications.
